RULES

PARTICIPATIONThese are Open type competitions.

The number of participating teams is unlimited, as long as it allows the competition to be played within the allotted time.

An FAI sports license is not required for entry.

JUDGINGThe competition will be conducted by 3 licensed FAI FS/VFS judges. The day before the judging team will be available at Flyspot Gdansk. On this day, each team will be able to ask the judges to evaluate up to two practice flights (the schedule of practice rounds will be published later).

NOTIFICATIONSEntries for the competition are accepted until November 10, exclusively through the Entry Form.

Early registration – For payments made by June 30, 2024:

  • FS4 / VFS /D4W – 200 EUR / 860 PLN gross
  • Freestyle Solo Open/Junior – 150 EUR / 645 PLN gross.
  • Solo Speed – 150 EUR / 645 PLN gross
  • FS2/ D2W – 190 EUR / 820 PLN gross

For payments made from July 1 to July 31, 2024:

  • FS4 / VFS /D4W – 249 EUR / 1080 PLN gross
  • Freestyle Solo Open/Junior – 175 EUR / 760 PLN gross.
  • Solo Speed – 175 EUR / 760 PLN gross
  • FS2/ D2W – 229 EUR / 990 PLN gross

For payments made from August 1 to September 30, 2024:

  • FS4 / VFS /D4W – 299 EUR / 1290 PLN gross
  • Freestyle Solo Open/Junior – 199 EUR gross / 860 PLN gross.
  • Solo Speed – 199 EUR / 860 PLN gross
  • FS2/ D2W – 249 EUR / 1080 PLN gross

For payments made from October 1 to November 10, 2024:

  • FS4 / VFS /D4W – 599 EUR / 2580 PLN gross
  • Freestyle Solo Open/Junior- 399 EUR / 1720 PLN gross
  • Solo Speed – 399 EUR / 1720 PLN gross
  • FS2/ D2W – 499 EUR / 2150 PLN gross

Competitors can take part in more than one competition. Participation in each subsequent competition: entry fee -50%.

After submitting the application, the team captain will receive an email confirmation of registration and details for transferring the fee. All communication between the competition director and the teams will be through the email address provided during registration.

COMPETITION RULESAll participants are required to wear a helmet and equipment that complies with the current FAI Sporting Code.

The competition shall be conducted and judged in accordance with the current FAI regulations, except for the following local/international rules:

1. Each team is required to put on the helmets of the players indicated by the organizer and in accordance with the instructions provided by the organizer received during registration:

  • RFID tags
  • Starting numbers

A team that fails to comply will receive zero points in the corresponding round. This rule is not subject to the right to protest.

2. Each team is responsible for time management and has enough time to prepare and execute the flight. A team entering the tunnel too early, before the time indicated for it, will receive zero points in the round. This rule is not subject to the right to protest.

3. The jury of three members delegates one who is present at the site. The other two members remain in mobile contact, in case decisions need to be made.

4. FS 2-way Advanced is judged in accordance with Flyspot’s internal rules available on the Flyspot Open website.

QUALIFICATION

  • Each category is open to players of any nationality.
  • Team members can be of any nationality and gender.
  • Each team member should have wind tunnel flying experience.
  • Each team may submit one reserve before the start of the competition.
  • Each competitor may be a member of only one team entered in a given category.

TRENINGThe price for pre-competition training is €449/hr gross for participating teams.

PROTESTSThe protest fee is 15 EUR/50PLN.
