WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The KIDS ROOKIE and KIDS SEMI PRO categories are open to children between the ages of 6 and 12 (by year of birth, i.e. born in 2011 at the latest) who can fly independently in the tunnel. If you are unsure whether your child has sufficient skills, consult an instructor.
The KIDS PRO OPEN category is for children between the ages of 6 and 16 (we also count age by year).
You can only participate in one category.
Note: a category will be played only if at least 5 players register.

CATEGORIES

KIDS ROOKIE

Level: basic

Skills: independent entry and exit of the tunnel, flying on the belly

In the ROOKIE category, competitors compete in two events (3 rounds in total):

Round 1: DIGITS
Round 2: SLALOM
Round 3: HULA-HOP

In the KIDS ROOKIE category, we award the first 3 places.

Scoring rules: after each round, the judges rank the competitors (from the highest to the lowest scores); after each round, the points are totaled. The competitor who collected the highest number of points wins.

Disciplines

Digits

The competition consists in touching according to the guidelines with the appropriate limbs the corresponding digits glued to the walls of the tunnel as many times as possible within 45 seconds. Each correctly touched digit is 1 point.

Slalom

A player in the tunnel slaloms between the tapes as many times as possible within 45 seconds. Each correct completion of the slalom is 1 point.

HULA- HOP

The contestant is supposed to fly between two hula-hoop wheels attached to a net in a tunnel. He or she flies through the first hula-hoop with the front, in front of the second with the back (flies around the square). The goal is to complete as many repetitions as possible.

KIDS SEMI PRO

Level: advanced

Skills: flying on the belly, on the back, freestyle elements

In the KIDS SEMI PRO category, competitors compete in two events (4 rounds in total):

Round 1: DIGS on the back
Round 2: SLALOM on the back
Round 3: OBLIGATORY LAYOUT
Round 4: OBLIGATORY LAYOUT

Scoring rules: after each round, the judges rank the competitors (from highest to lowest score); after each round, the points are added up. The competitor who collected the highest number of points wins.

KIDS PRO OPEN

Level: advanced

Skills: flying on the belly, on the back and freestyle

In the KIDS PRO OPEN category, competitors compete in two events (4 rounds in total):

Round 1: OBLIGATORY LAYOUT
Round 2: OBLIGATORY LAYOUT
Round 3: FREESTYLE
Round 4: FREESTYLE

Disciplines

Mandatory arrangement

In this competition, contestants are tasked with performing a compulsory layout from a video prepared by Flyspot.
Judging is based on the accuracy of the reproduction of the layout shown in the video, its fluidity and technical execution of the elements.

Freestyle

In this competition, competitors perform a pre-prepared layout of 60 seconds (tolerance of up to +/- 10 seconds). Judges award points for: technique, artistic value and accuracy of the performance of the layout.

In the KIDS PRO OPEN category, the first 3 places are awarded. The winner is determined by the sum of points from all rounds. The competitor who collected the most points wins.
